    III SUS Ordinary Meeting at Helsinki
    During the 1st and 2nd of June 2010 the city of Helsinki hosted the III Ordinary Meeting of the Smart Urban Spaces consortium. The meeting was inaugurated by Suvi Linden -Minister of Communications of Finland- and Jussi Pajunen - Maior of Helsinki-.

    SUS plenary meeting
    Mrs. Linden offered a small speech about the situation of Finland as one of the most important Europe countries in Innovation and the importance of the efforts that the Smart Urban Spaces consortium is performing to bring that innovation to the citizens.

    The meeting was prepared by the Forum Virium Helsinki, an organism that is working for the creation of internationally competitive digital services for consumers and clients in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area through cooperation between corporations, public institutions and citizens.

    The meeting was organized into workshops that were managing all the different issues and subjects included in the project.
    The work of the Spanish SUS partners is partially funded by MITYC, the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade. The work of the Finish SUS partners is partially funded by Tekes, the most important publicly funded expert organization for financing research, development and innovation in Finland The work of the French SUS partners is partially funded by DGCIS, the Directorate-General of Competiveness, Industry and Services.
